Medical
There are certain medical conditions that may prevent you from diving, for example asthma and various heart conditions. The RSTC have produced a standard diving medical form. In case you have any of the conditions listed, please print out the form and have your physician or family doctor complete it. If this is not the case, you still need to see a doctor to get medical approval to be a professional diver. Failure to read and action this form may result in not being able to dive. If you are unable to get to your own doctor to sign you off as fit for diving but have or suspect you might have one of the conditions listed then please get in touch with us so that we can advise you on what your options are.

 

Swim
In order to be a safe diver and be comfortable around (deep) water you must be a confident swimmer. Please note that in order to be able to complete the Divemaster course, participants need to complete a 400 meter swim and 15 minute float.

Certification
Each diver must show proof of certification in order to start their professional courses. If you have lost or misplaced your certification please get in touch to see if we can help.

 

Depths
We do not allow divers to dive beyond their training limits.

 

Payments and deposits
We will only secure and guarantee diving and accommodation if you send us a deposit. You can do this through our online payment system - ThaiEpay and by visiting this page and clicking the book link next to the activity you are planning to do. ThaiEpay accepts online payments from VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Japan Credit Bureau as well as China Unionpay.

Your deposit is non-refundable, but in case you have no option but to cancel we can hold it for future courses. If you require to make changes this must be done 7 days in advance to avoid any extra charges.

 

Full Payment

All professional diving courses and activities have to be paid in full prior to water activities commencing..

 

Price
We reserve the right to change our prices whenever we want. However once you book with a deposit your price is fixed to the date you booked.

 

Payment Facilities
Please note that credit card facilities on the island can vary in reliability. When they work, they have 3% surcharge. Please do be aware that there is always a possibility that you will need to pay your balance in cash in the local currency. There are enough ATMs as well as banks around on Koh Tao. where you can withdraw cash money.

 

Weather and Unforeseen Events
When the wind blows we can usually find somewhere to hide. In the unlikely event that we can’t complete your course due to inclement weather we will reschedule. If you are unable to extend or change your schedule and must leave, then we will ensure that your training records/referral forms are properly completed and refund any money due. 

 

Insurance
We recommend that you have, and carry with you a comprehensive insurance policy that covers professional diving. If you do not have a specific diving policy then we can offer you cover.
