Divemaster

The Divemaster program is the first step into your scuba diving career. With this certification, you can work in any PADI dive center in the world. In just 6 weeks you will be prepared to enter the world of professional diving. Our Divemaster program starts continuously, so get in touch to schedule the beginning of your course.

What we offer

Flexible schedules

We recommend taking at least 6 weeks to complete the full course. The longer you spend as a Trainee, the more experienced and well rounded you will be as a Divemaster. However, it is a flexible course, allowing for breaks in between.

Personal attention and training

Dive Pro Academy has a maximum of 4 students per Staff Instructor. This means that you will get all the time, attention and mentorship you need to excel as a Divemaster.

Experienced instructors

Our Instructors, Staff Instructors and Course Director have years of combined experience in different fields of the diving industry. As a DMC, you get to profit from their knowledge by learning from the best.

All required elements included

Main equipment hire and boat fees are all included in the course price. On top of that, you will get generous discounts when buying equipment as well as refreshments in the dive center and on the boat.

Prerequisites

To be able to participate in the Divemaster course, there are certain prerequisites. You have to be:

18 years or older
Be PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certified (or have a similar certification from another organisation)
Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or have a similar certification from another organisation)
Have an Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care certification (or qualifying first aid and CPR training from another organisation). This EFR-certification needs to have been completed within the previous 24 months
Have at least 40 dives to begin the course
Have at least 60 dives to get certified
Be physically fit for diving
Submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
